7 Daily Energy Practices to Stay Grounded + Clear
Your energy is sacred.
Just like your physical body, your energy body needs care, attention, and intentional movement to stay vibrant, clear, and aligned. These simple daily practices will help you ground your energy, release what’s not yours, and reconnect with your inner guidance—so you can feel calm, focused, and empowered every single day.
1. Ground Yourself Each Morning
Start your day with a grounding ritual. Stand barefoot (if possible), close your eyes, and imagine roots growing from your feet deep into the Earth. Take a few deep breaths here. Standing firm in your being.

2. Clear Your Energy Field
This is probably one. of my favorite things to add to my daily yoga asana practice! Sweep your hands over your body from head to toe like you’re brushing away dust. Use palo santo, sage, or sound. Dance is a great way to move and stir up the energy! Imagine brushing and wiping away anything that no longer serves you and channel your inner Taylor Swift and Shake it Off!"

3. Drink Water with Intention
Hold your cup of water and bless it with your words. Water holds energy and we want to mindfully put good energy into our bodies. Try it with the next full moon and make moon water!

4. Move Your Body, Move Your Energy
Stretch, dance, shake, or flow. Movement frees stuck energy. No rules. Just expression.
Build up some heat in your body with a hike in nature or a hot yoga class. The goal of yoga is to prepare the body for meditation. When we have moved and cleared energy we are better able to be a clear channel for Spirit to move through us.
5. Name Your Emotions + Let Them Move
Ask: “What am I feeling right now?” Then let it move—journal it, shake it out, cry, or breathe. Set a timer for 5 minutes and don’t let your pen stop moving until the buzzer goes off. This is a great way to tap into the sub conscious. Start with the journal prompt “I am feeling…” and keep writing! Remember an emotion only holds true weight for 90 seconds! Anything after that is what we are fueling the fire with!
6. Protect Your Energy
Visualize a light bubble around you (white, gold, or violet). Get into the practice of calling in your Spirit team for protection and Archangel Michael. Set an energetic boundary around yourself and when you sense someone has crossed into that boundary, gently but firmly visualize yourself sending their energy back to them and your protective bubble expanding.

7. End the Day with a Simple Release Ritual
Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly. This can be a beautiful space for a chest opener. Grab a bolster and lay your spine along the bolster. Long deep breaths as you offer a deep stretch to the pecs.
💬 “I let go of all that is not mine. I return to myself.”
Write it out or burn a bay leaf to let go.
